Part Time Business for Sri Lankan Women

women in business

For decades, Asian women have been famous for being all-rounders. They make an amazing mom and an even more caring wife. Without alarms they wake their kids up for school in the morning, they wake their husband up for office, they make their family’s breakfast within 15-20 minutes and that too while taking care of who likes to eat what; an omelette with toast, fruits’ milkshake, sandwiches or a pancake (service like that of a five-star restaurant).

While their family is out, they tidy the beds, mop the floor, clean everything up, get a bath and make sure they themselves look presentable. They then have to prepare their kids’ lunch and make sure even the food looks presentable and tempting. They do all of this within 6 hours, while taking care of the toddler who never stops crying.

They, then, have to make their school-returned kids take a bath, finish their food and go to sleep. B But their job does not end here! Then they have to prepare some hi-tea refreshment for their other half who returns at 6 p.m. put all of his office things back to place, wake the kids up, make them eat some healthy hi-tea snacks and start to prepare the dinner. Then they once again make the beds which they tidied up in the morning, kiss everyone goodnight and go to bed wondering if they fulfilled their day’s role well enough or not.

I can still bet that right now, the picture you get of the Asian women’s routine is much simpler than what their actual routine is. My question is; when they can do all of this with so much expertise, then can they not take some time out and carry out some entrepreneurial activities alongside? I am sure they can, and become one of the women in business Sri Lanka.

Baby-sitting:

With Sri Lanka’s population increasing every day, there is a new baby born and all the women in business Sri Lanka, need babysitters to take care of their toddlers while they are at the office. You have to take care of the baby for a few hours and keep the mother informed. The mother in turn pays you some money and sometimes, also a surplus. In case you cannot go to their place, the mother may also drop by her little one while going to work.

Beauty Services:

With a little bit of investment on training courses, beauty products, a good big mirror, a pair of comfortable seats and a room, Sri Lankan women can stay at home and earn good money while providing the ladies some beauty services.

Handicrafts and Accessories:

Handicrafts are very much demanded and appreciated in Sri Lanka. You can always learn some courses or learn making handicrafts online. Once you suffice in it, you may sell them with a profit margin; either online or by putting up little stalls, and be a part of the women in business Sri Lanka.

Sometimes the whole idea behind a woman working is not just because she needs to earn money, but it also boosts her self-confidence and self-worth.
